I’ve missed doing a tiny calendar drawing every day. I bought this cheap calendar in January thinking I would follow the same practices from last year, but then nothing felt right and I decided against it.
I didn’t think I would miss it, this tiny little daily drawing, but I did.
So I started anew this month. Just like last year, I am going to write my word of the year at the top of each page as a reminder to myself that it still exists and it is still driving me.
I decided to ease in with simple and fun Picasso-esque faces. So much fun to do. Especially with big teeth! Ha!
I like those faces. Where did you learn to draw them like that?
Thank you! Whenever I do these types of faces, I definitely channel a bit of Picasso. The trick, when doing a series like this, is keeping them all from looking the same. I definitely struggled with that!
They are great!
